Water Share Purchase Program
Introduction / Background
Central Utah Water Conservancy District (CUWCD) is actively buying water shares in select companies on the Provo River and in Utah Lake. CUWCD has a set price based off the acre-ft quantification for each share. CUWCD is purchasing from the following companies at the following prices per full share:

Spanish Fork River

Purchase Process
If you are interested in selling your water shares to CUWCD please submit an application. In order to submit an application, you will need:
- - Contact information
- - Front and back copy of the share certificates you would like to sell
- - Number of Shares you are selling

Purchase Agreement
Once we receive your application you will be e-mailed a Water Stock Purchase Agreement and a W9 form with additional instructions. The purchase contract can only be issued to the individual or entity that is currently listed on the Share Certificate as the owner of the share(s).
Execution and Closing
Once CUWCD receives a signed copy back of the Purchase Agreement CUWCD staff will work with you to schedule a closing on the shares. If you have any questions please contact Gary Brimley at gbrimley@cuwcd.gov or 801-557-0241.
